The Problem With Every Other Strap
A camera harness should move with you. Not against you.
Traditional neck straps concentrate all the weight on a single point. After a few hours, you're rubbing your neck, adjusting your posture, and missing shots because your gear is in the way.
Sliding hardware & straps catch clothes leaving fabric bunched, twisted, and worn out
When your hair gets caught it doesn't just hurt, it pulls your attention away from the work
Standard X-back designs concentrate weight on two narrow points, creating hot spots that ache after just a couple hours
Introducing the Lone Bandit
A single-camera harness that distributes weight across your chest, back, hips, and shoulders β eliminating neck strain and keeping your camera exactly where you put it.
Why the Lone Bandit
Built Different. Built to Last.
Old-world craftsmanship meets the demands of modern photography.
Weight distributes across your chest, back, hips, and shoulders. Shoot all day without the ache.
Our tether system locks your camera in place. No drift, no pinching, no catching on your clothes.
Every harness is made to order in our shop. Full-grain leather, solid brass hardware, hand-stitched.
Your camera is always at your hip, ready to shoot. No fumbling, no unclipping, no missed moments.
We use only the top layer of the hide β the strongest, most durable part. It develops a rich patina over time and only gets better with age. This isn't bonded leather or split leather. It's the real thing.
Every buckle, snap shackle, and D-ring is solid brass. Not plated. Not zinc alloy. Brass won't corrode, won't crack, and develops a beautiful aged patina that matches your leather.
The chest strap keeps your harness balanced and makes it easy to put on and take off. Adjust it once and it stays exactly where you set it β no constant readjusting.

"Looks incredible AND works perfectly"
I was hesitant about the price but this thing is worth every penny. It's become my most-asked-about piece of gear. The brass hardware is stunning and the leather is already developing a beautiful patina after 6 months.
"No more sliding, no more pinching"
The tether system is genius. With every sling I've used before, my camera would slide across my body and catch on my shirt. The Lone Bandit just... stays put. Exactly where you put it.

Ordered the tan version and it arrived beautifully packaged. The stitching is immaculate, the hardware is solid brass β not plated. This is a piece of gear I'll be using for decades.

I shoot weddings and I'm on my feet for 10+ hours. The Lone Bandit distributes the weight across my chest and shoulders β I barely notice my camera is there. Absolute game changer.
"Worth the wait β handmade to order"
It took about 2 weeks to arrive since it's made to order, but the wait was absolutely worth it. You can tell this was made by someone who cares about their craft. The chest strap makes it so easy to put on and take off.
